The Wellness Diaries: Entry 3January 22, 2019
Happy Tuesday y’all!
I can’t believe it’s back to work already. We just had a three day weekend, but it only feels like I had one day off! Does anyone else feel that way??
We got hit with a snow/ice storm Saturday night going into Sunday, and Monday was SO cold that my husband and I didn’t want to leave the house. My morning barre class was canceled, so I was left to workout at home instead. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’ve recently started the BBG program with Kayla Itsines’ app, Sweat. I love it so far! It makes workouts at home so easy to follow along (but the workouts are NOT easy, let me tell you!) and she even provides meal plans for you to follow so you get the most out of your experience. My health and wellness is more important to me than ever before, and I love that I don’t need to go to a gym to workout if I haven’t got the time, or if I don’t feel like leaving the house. I wanted to share a little update with y’all too, and I’m really proud of myself. As of this entry, I am down just over 10 pounds. For someone like me, who has a hard time “dieting” or sticking to a workout plan, that’s huge. I’m excited from all of the progress I’ve made so far, and I can’t wait to keep going. I feel healthier, more awake, my mind feels clearer, and I just feel better overall. I’ve been making healthier meal choices, and my husband and I are really utilizing the InstantPot we got for Christmas- it makes meal prepping a breeze!
