The gin and tonic is one of the most classic cocktails to ever grace this earth, and the addition of basil and lemon creates a wonderfully refreshing drink for lazy afternoons.
Lemon Basil Gin and Tonic

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 4-6 basil leaves
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 cup Hendrick's gin
- 1 1/2 cup tonic water
- lemon twist, for garnish
- fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Pour the lemon juice, basil leaves, and ice into a cocktail shaker and shake well to bruise the basil.

Add in the gin and shake again.

Strain into two glasses. Add more ice (if desired) and top with tonic. Garnish with basil and a lemon twist. Serve immediately and enjoy!
