Give Yourself the Gift of Self-Care This Holiday Season

November 19, 2021

With the holidays right around the corner, the greatest gift you can give yourself is the gift of self-care.

I start and end each day with a strict skincare routine that leaves me feeling refreshed and revitalized, and I am always looking for new products I can introduce into my routine.

InstaNatural is a personal care brand that was launched in 2013 and creates natural skin care products that equip consumers with the knowledge and resources to make better choices with their product selections. Featuring anti-aging, natural antioxidants, the Vitamin C Cleanser is infused with coconut water and aloe with a light citrus scent, which hydrates skin for a radiant complexion. I especially love their Vitamin C Peel Off Facial Mask (I love a good peel off mask) which provides instant exfoliation and brightening to the skin and contains Vitamin C, caffeine, and turmeric combined with hyaluronic acid. It’s the perfect mask to unwind with at the end of my night, and leaves my skin feeling soft and vibrant.

To use the cleanser effectively, InstaNatural recommends applying it twice a day, massaging a small amount into the palms to form a lather. Apply it to your face in small, circular motions, and wash off with warm water. This product is suitable for all skin types, and you can continue to follow your standard skincare routine immediately after.

For the Vitamin C Peel Off Mask, apply a thin layer onto clean, dry skin and allow the mask to set for at least 25 minutes. Once the mask is fully dry, hold skin taut, and gently peel away in sections. Remove any remaining residue with warm water and follow with a toner, serum, and moisturizer.

Don’t forget, skincare isn’t limited to just the face! I’ve been implementing sugar scrubs into my shower routine for years, so when I found that Tree Hut made this delicious-smelling Moroccan Rose Shea Sugar Scrub, I was so excited. This sugar scrub treats you to an intense exfoliation and reveals soft, glowing skin scented with Moroccan rose. Sugar is a natural exfoliant that effectively polishes away dead skin while boosting circulation. The scrub also contains natural shea butter, which provides moisturization that penetrates deep into the skin to nourish and soften, while natural oils condition to prevent dryness and balance hydration. I especially love that Tree Hut’s sugar scrubs are all paragon-free, sulfate-free, vegan, alcohol-free, and have long-lasting fragrance.
