October 16, 2020
Jump to Recipe

Looking for a quick, delicious dessert for Halloween? Look no further! These adorable, spooky dirt cups are the perfect snack to serve for your Halloween soiree.

These cups are made with creamy, chocolate pudding and topped with crumbled Oreos, Belvita cookie headstones, and edible flowers. Serve with a mini gold shovel spoon. I adore these, and you can find them here! To make sure these stay fresh, prepare the ingredients the night before and assemble the day of your event. Enjoy!

Charmingly Spooky Halloween Dirt Cups

Course Dessert
Prep Time 15 minutes
Servings 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (I use Jello brand)
  • 1 package dark chocolate oreos, crushed
  • 1 box Belvita cookies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • Edible flowers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate pudding per box instructions.

  2. Scoop pudding into a small glass ( a 4-6 ounze glass works the best). Make sure you leave room at the top for the Oreo crumbled "dirt"!

  3. Layer the crumbled Oreos on top of the pudding.

  4. Melt the chocolate chips. Put the melted chocolate into a piping bag, and decorate the tops of the Belvita cookie "headstones" with phrases of your choice, such as RIP or Beware!

  5. Let the Belvita cookies cool for a minute or two, then wiggle the tombstone into the pudding. Decorate with edible flowers (optional) and serve with little gold shovel spoons. Enjoy!
