April wipes the air clean; green behind to fill bare branches and vast fields, and water droplets nourish the roots of blossoming leaves and petals. April conjures up images of splashing in puddles and laughing; of floral aromas gently rising and perfuming the air.
Although the month has just started, April has been good to us so far. I’ve enjoyed soaking up the sun and the warm temps and rediscovering my love of gardening. A couple of weeks ago, we started our small raised garden bed and planted mint, parsley, basil, lavender, and sweet strawberries. Along the side and front of the house, we planted white and pink rhododendrons, candy tuft iberis, and pale purple hydrangeas, and laid down fresh mulch. Our trees are beginning to bud, the grass is greening, and it’s exciting to watch everything come alive again.
In honor of the beautiful spring weather we’ve been having, I thought I’d share some of my favorite inspiration.
I can't wait to hear from you!
