2017 definitely feels like a blur. This was one of my most challenging years, both personally and professionally. There have been many wonderful moments throughout but…it’s been a lot! With all of the terrible things happening in the world every single day, it put my own struggles and issues into perspective and made me more grateful for the life I have and the health of loved ones and myself. While I am not able to blog full time at this point in my life, I am thankful to wake up every day to even spend just one hour working on LRH and following my passions- which you know is very important to me. I am even more grateful for the connections and relationships I’ve been able to build with readers here on LRH. To be able to bring a tiny bit of inspiration into your daily life through fashion, writing, and travel is always an honor to me.
I was lucky enough to be able to travel to quite a few places, starting the year off in Palm Harbor, then Seattle, Paris, and Portland. Though I am not able to go often, traveling fuels my soul and serves as one of my biggest forms of inspiration. I am hoping to make it a more integral part of my life, especially once I have finished my degree. I have pulled some of my favorite images from 2017 to look back on top highlights and moments.
Thank you again for being a part of this journey with me. I am so incredibly grateful for you and your support. I am looking forward to seeing you all in 2018, and sharing the exciting things to come!
I’ve also shared 6 ways you can reflect on a full year here.
I visited Paris too, was that your first time there? It’s amazing right?!

It was, and I absolutely loved it!! I can’t wait to go back. I would also love to explore Provence too!
It sounds like you had an incredibly busy 2017! I can’t believe it’s over already…good riddance though, it seems like it was a rough year for just about everyone. I hope your 2018 is full of health, happiness and just the right amount of travel.
Thank you Katie! It was definitely a tough one, but I’m excited for what 2018 will bring!
